It is a condition of attendance that all attendees must comply with the Venue Regulations of the venue hosting Soulcheck. If you fail to comply with the Venue Regulations, you may be refused entry to or evicted from the venue.
Please note that these Venue Regulations may be amended, supplemented or replaced from time to time at the venue’s sole discretion and without notice. Please refer back to the Venue Regulations prior to the date of Soulcheck for the most up to date information.
“Authorized Person(s)” means including (without limitation) Event and Venue management, Police, agencies responsible for safety and security, and their respective staff, officials, officers, contractors and volunteers.
“Prohibited Item(s)” means any prohibited item(s) listed in Prohibited Items List.
Venue Regulations
Entry to the Venue is subject to the following Venue Regulations:
- You may be refused admission to or evicted from the Venue if you:
- a) are not appropriately dressed as deemed by any Authorized Person (including wearing any clothing or item that may be offensive to any person);
- b) are noticeably under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- c) are behaving (or are considered by any Authorized Person likely to behave) in a disruptive, dangerous or violent manner, or in a way that any reasonable person may interpret as provocative, threatening, discriminatory and/or offensive, and/or are creating or posing any threat to the life or safety of any other person in or around the Venue;
- d) throw, cast, thrust or propel any object, including, without limitation, into the air or onto any person or thing;
- e) attempt to bring any Prohibited Item into the Venue; or
- f) have previously been issued with a trespass notice which still applies.
- You are expressly prohibited from:
- a) bringing into the Venue any Prohibited Item. Prohibited Items may be removed, confiscated and/or destroyed at the discretion of any Authorized Person;
- b) distributing or using in or around the Venue any unauthorized sponsorship, promotional or commercial items or materials (of whatever nature);
- c) engaging in any form of ambush marketing or any unauthorized commercial activity in or around the Venue (including the parking lot, etc.);
- d) sitting or standing in any aisle, access way or emergency exit;
- e) smoking except in designated areas (if any); and
- f) entering or circulating in a restricted access area in the Venue or other area where you are not permitted.
- Surveillance cameras may be in operation.
- You must co-operate and comply fully with the instructions and guidelines of any Authorized Person and any refusal may result in you being refused admission to or evicted from the Venue.
- You may be requested to submit to a body check and/or a search of your possessions at any time to locate and remove any Prohibited Item, and any refusal may result in you being refused admission to or evicted from the Venue. Vehicles entering or leaving the Venue may also be searched.
- Children must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
- You are responsible for any property you bring to the Venue and such property is at your own risk. Your presence and/or movement in and around the Venue is at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Soulcheck, Sweet Victory Music, or the venue will be liable for any loss, damage or harm (of any kind, including to any person or any property) arising from your presence at the Venue and you agree that no claim, complaint or proceeding will be brought in this regard.
- Photographs or any other recordings of sound or images taken by you are for personal, private, non-commercial and non-promotional purposes only and must not be transmitted by any means.
- Your voice, image and likeness may be captured and recorded in and around the Venue and publicly disseminated by any means and in any format or media, and you waive all rights on an irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual basis to object to such recording and dissemination.
- You may be refused admission to or evicted from the Venue, without refund or compensation, if you fail to comply with the Venue Regulations.
- Entry to the Venue shall constitute acceptance of the Venue Regulations.
Prohibited Items List
Please note that this list of Prohibited Items may be amended, supplemented or replaced from time to time at Soulcheck or the Venue’s sole discretion and without notice. Please refer back to the Prohibited Items List prior to the date of the relevant Soulcheck for the most up to date information.
- Alcohol and/or illegal or illicit substances
- Bottles, glass, cans, thermos flasks, any breakable container, drink bottles (whether unopened/sealed or not)
- Hard cool boxes, chilly bins, cooler bags, picnic baskets, large bags (bags must be soft-sided and fit under your seat)
- Air horns or sound amplifiers including loudhailers
- Musical instruments, whistles
- Umbrellas
- Animals other than guide dogs
- Flares, fireworks, laser lights/pointers, smoke bombs
- Compressed gas containers, aerosols
- High visibility vests or jackets (except for vests or jackets required by police, venue security or emergency services)
- Gang patches and/or regalia
- Weapons including knives
- Skateboards, roller blades, scooters, bicycles
- Furniture, chairs or stools of any kind (including portable seating)
- Car parts
- Flags with flag sticks/poles of more than 800mm in length
- Any radio transmitting device
- Radio scanners
- Sponsorship, promotional or commercial items or materials
- Banners, signs or materials displaying political, religious, offensive or race-related messages, slogans or images or that are obscene or abusive
- Any camera or other type of photographic or recording device (of any nature whatsoever) other than one that is for personal, non-commercial use
- Any item that is dangerous, hazardous and/or illegal or that may be used as a weapon or a missile
- Any item that may compromise or otherwise interfere with the enjoyment, comfort or safety of (or pose a hazard to) any person or security at the venue
- Any other item that the Venue or Soulcheck determines (in its absolute discretion) may cause injury or public nuisance or inconvenience to any other person.
